…is the international polo forum. If you’re interested in seeing how far and wide bike polo has spread in a few short years, check it out.
Loads of great photos and videos from around the world, and links to teams/scenes. It’s an interesting place to observe the current (diminishing?) differences in perspective between us Europeans and them North Americans.
Generally speaking, they seem to have a more hockey-based perspective on the sport with a strong emphasis on ‘checking’, and they dislike so-called ‘cheater mallets’. In Europe, most teams try to make sure someone is in goal at any one time, and some even go for the ‘perma-goalie’ (eg my favourite team to watch, Frankfurt’s Polosynthese).
It’s also cool to watch as polo blossoms in Asia and South America, too.
